Wellinton IV and Bengtsson moved onto a CSI2* show in Sancourt. It was the first time the show had held an international event and it was lovely. The weather was great albeit a little hot at times but the temperature didn’t seem to effect the horses as Bengtsson jumped another great double clear in the 1.35m class placing 10th and Ricki & Wellinton were double clear in the big class placing 6th! In the Grand Prix Wellinton had a really unlucky 4 faults in the triple combination but still managed to place 12th overall and pick up world ranking points, Bengtsson jumped the 1.40m class which was one round against the clock , he lowered just one rail towards the end of the course otherwise he would of finished 2nd!
We are thrilled with the way both horses have performed over the two shows and look forward to planning our next trip when we get home to the UK!
