Macon, France

On to Macon! Week two of our trip and the sun is still so strong and the heat is relentless!!! Give us some rain! (never though i’d say that!) Macon is a really beautiful show on the grounds of an enormous chateau that over looks the collecting ring and main arena. California II and Gwenn jumped the 1.40m classes and produced some foot perfect rounds to start the show with Wellinton IV giving us a clear the first day in the big class qualifying for the Grand Prix.

Wellinton IV jumped the Grand Prix and it was his biggest test to date, he lowered just two rails in the first round making some inexperienced mistakes but we were delighted with his performance overall on the day as temperatures reached a high of 43 degrees during the Grand Prix making conditions almost insufferable!
